Lost Solar Outfitters is owned by Gary Stagner from Craig, Colorado. Gary is a local and has been hunting Northwest Colorado all of his life. His family has been in western Colorado since the 1800's. Feel free to contact Gary at any time. Northwest Colorado Elk Hunts are our specialty. The Flat Tops Wilderness, Colorado's second largest wilderness, is unique. It compares with no other mountain range in the state. Only the Columbia Plateau of the Pacific Northwest is similar. There are no tall spires, and no fourteeners are found in the Flat Tops. Rather, it is a massive block of rock pushed upward and planed level, its surface punctured here and there with rare peaks rising a thousand feet above the high plateau. This spectacular beauty will surround you when you book your summer vacation trip with Lost Solar Outfitters. We offer full service summer pack trips. Your cook, wrangler, and horses are all furnished. Just bring your sense of exploration and we'll be on our way for your summer adventure. All equipment is available at no additional charge, or you can bring your own. Just let us know. We offer drop camps and deluxe drop camps, as well as fully guided hunting trips during Archery, Muzzleloading and Rifle Big Game Seasons. There will be a per horse charge to pack you in. Lost Solar is the base camp located on the South Fork of the White River. Lost Solar Outfitters, LLC operates on the White River National Forest under special permit from the U.S. Forest Service.
