MEEKER SPORTSMAN’S CLUB, INC. P. O. Box 1325 Meeker, CO 81641-1325 POLICIES AND RULES 1. On May 10, 1997, the Meeker Sportsman's Club, Inc. adopted an amendment to the membership policy. An annual performance fee of $20.00 was added to the $20.00 annual membership fee. Both fees are annually due on January 1st. The club year runs from January 1 to December 31. New members are required to attend a regular monthly club meeting to obtain their membership, unless they have a legitimate conflict. In which case, they may contact the membership chairperson directly to acquire their membership. Members who are not in good standing must attend a club meeting to renew or mail their dues and additional performance fee to the membership chairperson. Annual dues for members who are at least 60 years old are $15.00 with no performance fee required. 2. The performance fee will be credited to you for the following year if the requirements to attend one club meeting during the year and completing a workday have been met. Otherwise, a new performance fee will be required when renewing your membership. The performance fee is an incentive for members to be active and support the club and its activities. 3. A membership entitles only that individual and their immediate household family (spouse, sons and daughters) who reside with them, to utilize the club facilities, equipment and programs in a responsible manner. A member may take a guest to the range one time a year. If that guest is a resident of eastern Rio Blanco County, they must obtain a membership to continue using the range. 4. Combinations to club locks are privileged information for Club members only. Any member releasing this information to a non-member will be subject to forfeiture of their membership and privileges. 5. Members are responsible to see that only current paid members use the range, except during organized public shoots. An updated list is posted monthly. 6. The regular club meeting is held the first Thursday of the month at the Kilowatt Korner, 233 6th Street at 7:00 p.m. in Meeker. 7. Each member is required to work at least one day or shooting event during the calendar year to remain in good standing. Donation of equipment, materials and supplies will substitute for the work requirement. The club member will also be able to go out on his own and clean, repair equipment and cut weeds. The club member is responsible to notify the membership chairperson of work performed or donation contributed. 8. Club members are responsible for picking up all litter and removing their targets, empty shells and ammo boxes prior to leaving the range.
