Oak Ridge is the heart of the White River Valley.  It rests in the main migration route to the Oak Ridge State Wildlife wintering grounds in Unit 23.

Lodging is in a modern cabin.  Linens and bedding are furnished.

This private land hunt is accessible either by 4-wheel drive or all terrain vehicles with limited walking.  Hunts here are for all physical abilities.

The property is bordered on the north and east by private ground and on the south and west by Oak Ridge State Wildlife Area. Access to the wildlife area is by foot or horseback only.  The property has 8 heated blinds placed in the best areas.

We have leased an additional ranch with 10,000 acres of really good hunting.

Terms and Conditions:

Reservations are on a first come first serve basis.  A 50% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation.  Deposits are not refundable.  Balance is due upon arrival at Oak Ridge Outfitters.

Cow Elk hunts after the 4th Rifle season and before December 31st.

$1500 Cow Hunt, $2250 All 4 Seasons. Non-guided includes lodging.  Meals are on your own.

Non-hunter rates: $50 per day

Non-Guided Hunts

All four rifle seasons may be booked for groups up to 7 hunters for $15,750 each season or 8 hunters for $18,000.  8 hunters maximum.

Non-guided hunters who use lodging must pay a damage deposit refundable upon cabin inspection.

Prices do not include the cost of your license.

Prices include a search & rescue fee of  $.25 and a $1.50 Wildlife Council surcharge unless noted in the brochure.
Habitat Stamp required for ages 18-64 $10.59.  Limited license application fee is required in addition to the above fees.

2023 Big Game Limited Draw license

Applications for limited licenses will be accepted only by methods (on-line or by phone) provided by the Division.

 Application submittal shall include a $8.00 non-refundable application fee for residents and a $10.00 non-refundable application fee for nonresidents.

Applications for the regular drawing must be submitted appropriately no later than 8:00 PM Mountain Time on the first Tuesday in April.

Applications not submitted by this deadline are void.

               A qualifying hunting license must be purchased in order to apply for any big game license.

     A qualifying license includes: 1) an annual resident or nonresident small game hunting licenses; 2) an annual resident or nonresident spring turkey license; 3) resident small game/fishing combination license (only available to residents) or 4) a veterans lifetime resident combination license (only available to residents).

*All deer/elk licenses allocated by limited draw only. Buck deer and bull elk tags are not available in all 4th season hunts.
